A single figure draw has been best in this dash for the past few years and a few of the better fancied runners here are drawn high, which could hand the initiative to RIGID ROCK, who beat a big field over 6f at Naas in August before finding a massive 13lb hike and Laytown's sand just beyond him a month later. Judies Child is progressing nicely but faces a stiff task on her handicap debut and Stones Peak looks a better bet for a place at least as she has run very well since reverting to the minimum trip. She's closely matched with Wellmarked on their run at Navan last week and the pair should be involved in the finish.
