Verdict

Live Dangerously was thrown in at the deep end on his debut in a Group 3 at the Curragh and started 50/1 and finished last. He's obviously well thought of and this is more his grade. Lake District hasn't been beaten far in all starts but is looking exposed and may have to wait for a handicap to get off the mark. Overland Express made a very promising debut at Dundalk but found 1m4f beyond her when favourite at Wexford and takes a big drop in trip. This shouldn't take too much winning so DUARTE FERNANDES, a half-brother to several winners in the USA including a Breeders' Cup winner, can make a successful debut.
