SIR LOUJAY produced a battling performance to score over the minimum trip at Fairyhouse and, though 5lb higher, the longer trip will suit and a quick double looks on the cards. Vicalus started favourite at that same fixture after scoring at Ballinrobe but never got into the action. Lortzing hasn't had much experience but his two runs at Ballinrobe in mid-summer suggested he would be winning soon.
