Verdict

SIR LOUJAY produced a battling performance to score over the minimum trip at Fairyhouse and, though 5lb higher, the longer trip will suit and a quick double looks on the cards. Vicalus started favourite at that same fixture after scoring at Ballinrobe but never got into the action. Lortzing hasn't had much experience but his two runs at Ballinrobe in mid-summer suggested he would be winning soon. Sox's Girl followed a victory over fences at Tipperary with a decent effort over hurdles at Limerick and she's well enough treated to make her presence felt though she's closely matched with Baidin Fheilimi on that last run. Catawollow scored at Wetherby in April but hasn't shown much since
