Verdict

SHAMSIKHAN scored on very testing ground on the Flat in France and though beaten twice for Willie Mullins his narrow defeat by subsequent Grade 3 winner Minella Foru at Listowel would be good enough for this. Bold Bachelor has been making steady progress and his run behind Blow The Doors off at Gowran a couple of weeks ago puts him in the picture. Easter Hunt, who was only just behind in that latter event, will probably be suited by further in time but the testing conditions should play to his strengths. Like It A Lot showed real promise when beaten a nose by The Winkler at Galway in October but has run very poorly in two subsequent starts.
