Draycott Place has failed to add to his maiden and novice victories and has a lot to do under the conditions. He had The Plan Man 2l behind in the latest of those races at Limerick and the latter is just 1lb better off. The four-year-old PLINTH, twice a winner over hurdles, has been aiming high recently running at Royal Ascot and in the Galway Hurdle. This should be a bit easier as Flaxen Flare might just lack race fitness having been off since the Scottish Champion Hurdle in April. Gordon Elliott's charge, last year's Fred Winter winner at Cheltenham, has performed with credit at a high level subsequently and should be fit enough to do himself justice.
