In depth

Verdict

Alickadoo and Operation Houdini fought out the finish of this in 2008 and the latter, who finished first past the post but was demoted to second, is reunited with Ruby Walsh who scored on him at Galway last October. By The Hour won nicely at Sligo but whether she will stay this trip is another matter unlike Sigma Lifestyle, a confirmed stayer who returned to action after a break to warm up for this with a promising run over timber at Gowran. Streets Of Gold has no problems with the trip and should go well but MISS MITCH looks the one to be on despite her big weight. A very useful handicapper for Robert and Sally Alner, she was having her first start since her excellent second to The Sawyer at Ascot in January when unplaced in a Grade 2 at Gowran earlier this month and Pat Fahey will have her tuned up for this.
