In depth

Verdict

It's strange to see a race of this nature on this card but it certainly doesn't lack quality or interest. Dual bumper winner Dylan Ross would have made a winning debut over timber at Down Royal but for falling at the last and is obviously useful. Double Double had looked a useful bumper before Cheltenham where he set off a long way behind the field and could never get involved. Whatwillwecallher has been a wide margin winner of her last two starts in very testing ground and would be a threat if further rain arrives while Mississippi River and Valleymount were only separated by a couple of lengths in the race won by Jim Will Fix It at Leopardstown in December. SAMAIN had Mississippi River nine lengths adrift when scoring easily at Naas in February and all the evidence points to this being another winner in this grade for Willie Mullins.
