Verdict

Dermot Weld tries ADDRESS UNKNOWN in blinkers for the first time after the son of Oasis Dream showed signs of temperament both before and during his run behind Midas Touch in the Derrinstown at Leopardstown. Time may tell that it was still a classy effort as the winner goes into the Derby at Epsom tomorrow with a realistic chance. Aidan O'Brien should know how he stands with the selection as he not only saddled the winner that day but also the third At First Sight. Today's entry Fighting Brave has shown decent enough form in Group 3's behind Noll Wollop and Jan Vermeer but will probably need to find more in this field. Carraiglawn didn't have much to beat at Navan on Saturday but the fact that Jim Bolger brings him out so quickly and that he's still in the Irish Derby suggests better is expected. After a fine first season Sebastian Flyte has questions to answer after two moderate efforts, albeit in better company.
