Verdict

Another quartet of entries from Ballydoyle. GALILEAN started odds-on at Tipperary but couldn't get to Three Jacks or Feathery, who runs in the opener. He'll be supported to gain compensation and just gets the vote though stablemate Diodorus has shown enough to suggest he'll be winning soon and the form of his second at Leopardstown looks decent. San Remo will need to improve and the newcomer Sir John Lavery, who is related to several winners, faces a stiff task. World War couldn't cope with Rekindling at Gowran but the extra furlong should help while Gino Severini found 7f too short at Dundalk after a much better run here.
