Verdict

A very disappointing turnout numerically with Aidan O'Brien having half the entries but it's interesting just the same. SAMUEL MORSE will be very difficult to beat as he was only just touched off by Formosina in the Group 2 Railway Stakes here last month. That looks better than Rudolf Valentino's demolition of a field of maidens at Naas but Dunboyne Express is obviously very well regarded as he was well supported on his debut at Leopardstown where he landed the spoils from subsequent winner Master Of Hounds. Jim Bolger introduces Glor Na Mara, whose numerous big race entries suggest a bright future.
