Verdict

Speed Dream was a 20/1 chance when landing this a year ago but hasn't been sighted in three subsequent starts and is now on a 2lb lower mark. His trainer appears to have better claims this time with Just For Mary, whose recent runs have been confined to the minimum trip where she has been staying on stoutly at the finish. THATS A FRET was in superb form late last season and beat a huge field over the C&D on ground with some give in September. He bounced back to his best recently and can run here from a 3lb lower mark so gets the nod. Sassaway is still to win a race in 23 starts yet is still on her highest ever mark due to her consistency. She could reach a place again but recent three-year-old winners Wandering Heart and Noble Four will find this opposition very tough.
