In depth

Verdict

Aye Aye Skipper gave notice of an imminent victory when not beaten far at Tipperary and duly obliged at Killarney on Wednesday. He has a penalty to carry but is obviously in good heart and will be difficult to beat. Clear Focus is running well but her ability to finish races off is off-putting and she has a strike-rate of 1-26. Daisy Bell has only won at Dundalk and faded when headed at Leopardstown but it's about time FAIRY FOXGLOVE was winning a race and this looks her chance. She'd been reasonably consistent all year at Dundalk before two very encouraging runs on Turf and must have a fine chance of gaining her first victory on her 21st start.
