In depth

Verdict

Joe Eile has been running well without winning but rarely performs over a trip this short. Stones Peak is in tremendous form and had Kateeva just under two lengths behind over the C&D two weeks ago. The runner-up is 7lb better off and can reverse the places but it's AMOUR FOU who gets the vote. She is well suited by soft ground and ended the last campaign by beating a big field at Navan in October. She didn't reappear until June when staying on behind Statue Of Dreams, who is now rated 15lb higher, so racing from just 1lb higher here Chris Hayes' mount looks very well handicapped. Angel Bright has to be considered after her fine run behind Cape Of Approval at Cork and Rominintheglomin is a progressive filly who badly missed the break at Roscommon last time.
