Verdict

Gunner Lindley last won for Barry Hills at York in October 2010 but he's been going well for his new trainer who knows the time of day. He's probably still on a fair mark and first-time blinkers should aid the cause. BOLD THADY QUILL finished just in front of him at Cork last time when they occupied the places behind Potomac. The runner-up got no sort of run that day and can turn the tables on the winner and take this though it should be tight between the trio. Spa's Dancer travels from the UK in very good form having been going well in soft ground. Just touched off over 7f last time his earlier success over today's trip at Sandown points to his chances. Akasaka appears best on fast ground at Polytrack so Barack looks more of a threat as he found 1m2f stretching his stamina last time and has produced some fair runs at pattern race level.
