This doesn't look up to the usual standard for a Group 1 race in France and could turn out a messy affair. A Group 2 winner at York in May, Dalkala is much better than her latest below par effort in the Prix De Saint-Cloud suggests. Yet Christophe Lemaire prefers stablemate Sarkiyla, a filly who has raced mostly over a mile so far including when third to Duntle at Ascot in June. Grace Lady landed a Group 2 contest at Saint-Cloud back in May when reversing earlier form with third-placed ROMANTICA. Having her first start since, the latter may come out best on today's faster surface and Andre Fabre's filly gets a tentative vote. Vally Jem and Harem Lady don't look good enough.
