In depth

Verdict

ELUSIVE KATE drifted left when beating Guineas winner Sky Lantern in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket under controversial circumstances. Giofra was further behind and she also has the beating of Kenhope and Maureen on collateral form. Now back to her very best, John Gosden's filly can repeat last year's success in this. Lady Cecil's Chigun tries her luck in Group 1 company but was well beaten by the Irish filly Duntle at Ascot last time while Peace Burg and Grace Lady look best of the home challengers though both need to improve if they're to get the better of the selection.
