      Verdict

      MAULESDEN MAY (NAP) ended a frustrating sequence when accounting for three rivals at Redcar eight days ago. A 2lb rise seems lenient and she’s won on soft ground before so a follow-up looks on the cards for the in-form Dalgleish team. Favorite Girl is the likely pace angle but is still 6lb higher than for her last win on Turf. Amber Mystique is more interesting given she was out of her depth last time at Musselburgh. Heart Locket hasn’t raced since March and this looks on the sharp side nowadays for Mick Easterby’s mare.
