Verdict

Tagula Sunset is one of only two of these to these to have raced previously so the likelihood is that this will go to one of the newcomers, with the vote going to Jethro Bodine who is marginally preferred to The Kilkenny Kat. The last mentioned is bred to stay further than this trip but Tim Easterby has already had success with his juveniles so he may be more forward than most and the booking of Seb Sanders does take the eye. Kevin Ryan's Majuba ran encouragingly enough on his Thirsk debut last month but he did not seem to be completely at home on the softish ground that day and may struggle on the even softer surface here. Daisy Moses is bred to want a faster surface and may be best watched today and a chance is taken with Jethro Bodine. The selection is more likely to handle the cut in the ground than most of these being by Fath out of a Ballad Rock mare and it may be worth siding with Tim Pitt's colt.
