In depth

Verdict

CRAZY CHIC was well beaten in the Victoria Cup at Ascot last month but Marco Botti’s charge should find this easier having won a Class 2 handicap at Kempton earlier. Slemy won a lower grade handicap at Wetherby last time and Rouge Nuage also steps up in class after finishing second at Newmarket. Sir Billy Wright could go well back over 7f today while Hakam remains unexposed and the fast ground should suit. Fox Trotter has bits of form but is proving hard to win with while Big Whiskey has proved best on the all-weather so far.
