    Verdict

CHANCERY (NAP) has slipped down the weights and went close to taking advantage when beaten only a neck at York a week ago. An apprentice’s allowance helps his cause in this lower grade and David O’Meara’s charge gets the vote. Hermann is upped only 2lb after winning at Newmarket last time with Bertie Moon back in fourth but Archippos was anchored by a 6lb rise at Chester having scored over 1m2f here before that. Airton went close at Thirsk in between a couple of poor efforts while Sellingallthetime has a shout on his earlier neck defeat at Catterick.
