    Verdict

Tribal Conquest, a beaten favourite at Thirsk last month, is likely to appreciate this step up in trip and goes on the short-list. Graphite and Oden should have more to offer and are also worth a market check. Luna Magic was a huge price on her second start at Newbury but stayed on strongly and wasn’t beaten far in a blanket finish whereas Roddy was flattered to get within two lengths of Walton Street at Pontefract. GOLDEN SET has plenty of stamina in her pedigree and both winning siblings acted well on soft ground. James Fanshawe’s Bated Breath newcomer could be worth an interest at the likely odds.
