    Verdict

Loads of pace on here but perhaps none as quick as the filly ROSE BLOSSOM. Interestingly fitted with headgear at York, Richard Fahey's charge ran a blinder to finish fifth in the Nunthorpe beaten about three lengths. The shades are swapped for cheek-pieces today but she might be able to hold on today now dropped in class. The class-act in the race might be Group Therapy whose placed form in July was solid and the strong pace here should suit. Moorhouse Lad, Captain Dunne and Tax Free are all experienced speedsters, whilst Julius Geezer is only two but he gets a lot of weight from the older horses and strikes as a very interesting contender. Burning Thread is progressing well but this is the acid test, whilst Prohibit and Star Rover come here on the back of good runs but this looks more competitive.
