Verdict

This is a tight little handicap as you can't dismiss any of the eight runners out of hand. Sir Boss has been raised 3lb since finishing second at Chester, however, and Reve De Nuit likewise after his third in a valuable ladies' race at York. We might take a chance on ROYAL PECULIAR who has been running well without reward and is now on a lower mark than when winning on the Polytrack last year. He has the beating of recent course and distance third Dark Dune on Thirsk running. Masquerading is racing on Turf for the first time, as is the returning Wadi Al Hattawi, but Renew is suited by this trip and fast ground and looks a threat.
