Verdict

Ennistown ran green on his debut at Newmarket but kept on well in the closing stages and Mickael Barzalona has chosen him ahead of stablemate and newcomer Winterlude. Space Ship should also have learned plenty from his fourth at Sandown and started favourite that day, but Sicur may need more time and only beat one home on his introduction at HQ. EMULATING also began his career on the July course and was an eye-catcher when fifth to Timoneer having just got outpaced over that 7f trip. The extra furlong should be right up his street and Richard Hughes takes the ride in preference to debutant Lions Arch. Newcomers to note for future reference are headed by Glenard and the Medicean colt Tuscan Fun.
