    Verdict

THAT'LL DO NICELY comes here in cracking form and can complete a hat-trick at the main expense of Scamperdale, while Jeer is very interesting. The last-named is back 2lbs below his last winning Polytrack mark from earlier in the year and should be entitled to go well on that basis. Kieren Fallon is an eyecatching booking and money for the gelding would be very interesting. Scamperdale is in super form at present, landing two Leicester handicaps over a similar trip and going well in defeat over further at Kempton last time. He has rocketed in the weights for all of that but with the yard going well he cannot be ruled out. Magic Echo was a shade disappointing from a similar mark last time and may be in the grip of the handicapper and we will side with That'll Do Nicely. Trip and ground are ideal for the Nicky Richards inmate and the way he won last time suggests that he may well be capable of defying a further 7lb rise.
