Verdict

Ordnance Row and Basque probably have the best form among those to have raced previously but this is likely to go to one of the few interesting newcomers with preference for Galactic Star ahead of Frost Giant. The last mentioned takes the eye on pedigree being by Giant's Causeway but Aidan O'Brien's colt is likely to want a faster surface than this and preference is for the Stoute horse Galactic Star, who is by Galileo and a half-brother to a winning miler. Ordnance Row stepped up debut form when finding just With Interest too good at Newbury last time and has to be respected along with Godolphin's newcomer Economic, who may need more time. Of more interest could be the Barry Hills-trained Alhaajes, who is bred to appreciate plenty of cut in the ground. Galactic Star has a decent pedigree though and he is taken to make a winning start.
