    Verdict

NAMIBIAN is open to more improvement and is fancied to improve further now racing over a mile. Big, raw and scopey, Mark Johnston's colt seemed to appreciate the cut in the ground at York earlier in the month and with the ground likely to suit him once again another bold bid looks assured. Humdrum ran very well at Newmarket and on a strict form-line through Whisper Louise she has the beating of Mariachi Man, however it must be said that she was beaten by a Richard Fahey horse last time and that trainer saddles Goldenveil here so perhaps he has the upper hand. Hollow Tree can improve now handicapping, whilst blinkers need to galvanise Coachlight into action. Lady Gar Gar is more appealing than her strange namesake, whilst any market move for Dads Amigo would arouse some interest.
