        Verdict

        A number of recent winners here and we like Royal Challenge at the principal expense of Gleaming Spirit and Steel Blue. Neil Brown was seen at his best at Pontefract last Friday night aboard the Ian McInnes charge and off what is still a helpful mark, inclusive of the penalty, we reckon that he has a fair chance of a follow up. Gleaming Spirit won over five at Yarmouth in a first time visor. He was won over six in the past. Steel Blue is at his best trip. He has to have chances from the high draw. No Grouse will be suited by the hustle and bustle of this handicap and has to be of interest given the likelihood of a strong pace. Kunte Kinteh has been unable to take advantage of a lowering handicap mark. Yorkshire Blue has become a regular in sprints of this nature and is honest enough. Woqoodd has headgear on tonight and cannot be discounted given the form of the Richard Fahey yard. Cassie's Choice is best of the rest.
