Verdict

Sunrize will inevitably attract attention entering a handicap for the first time off a workable mark with top amateur Simon Walker booked. However, his form is nothing special at this stage and he's unlikely to offer anything in the way of value. Most rivals are fully exposed but if Keith Dalgleish can coax RITA'S MAN back to something like the best of his form when with Richard Hannon he would be an interesting participant. The talented Ella McCain is booked and he's a speculative selection. Clemento is also having a first run for a new yard having joined John Quinn from Roger Charlton and remains open to progress after just six starts so is short-listed along with course and distance winner Royal Flag and Cape Hideaway, who has been figuring prominently over timber this year.
