Verdict

All of the 11 entries barring Carthage have won a race and he should be scoring soon judged on his last two runs in October where he looked in need of this sort of trip. Most of his rivals are unexposed including the Godolphin pair Billingsgate, a shock maiden winner at Kempton in October, and Natural Choice, an easy winner on the same track a month later. SURCINGLE made a successful debut on fast ground at Leicester and didn't enjoy the best of runs when sent into Listed company at Newmarket. She's a sister to a 1m2f winner and out of a Group 1 winner so looks just the type her trainer does so well with. She can take this though there are numerous dangers including Votary, who made a winning start over 1m3f at Kempton, and The Silver Kebaya, another Kempton winner who is racing from a lowly mark.
