      Verdict

RAAWY was keen on the way to post and in the race itself when second at Newmarket. Hopefully, he’ll settle better here and can get off the mark at the main expense of newcomer Gorham's Cave. Roger Varian’s gelding is a son of Rock Of Gibraltar and a half-brother to five winners but only cost 42,000gns and the fact that he’s starting off at a modest level suggests he may not be anything special. Julie Camacho’s debutant Chosen World could run well at a price with the four-year-old Wannabe Friends probably the pick of the remainder, though exposed.
