In depth

Verdict

Cyrius Moriviere will find this much easier than when confronting Yorkhill and company at Grade 1 level last time and should go well despite conceding weight to some interesting rivals. This better surface will undoubtedly aid his cause and previous runs read well. Dashing Oscar was just inched out on his hurdling debut at Bangor and should also get involved at the business end if ready for this first run since late October. Give Him A Glance is another possible but we'll go along with the Nicholls newcomer, MOABIT. He receives a healthy age allowance from practically the whole field and looks a very useful recruit for the champion trainer after winning three of his six French starts. He'll also be well suited by underfoot conditions.
