This may turn out to be an informative maiden as several have already shown signs of ability and a couple of nicely-bred newcomers also face the starter. With the Stoute team starting to fire on all cylinders, DESERT SUNRISE is taken to go one better than on her debut at Lingfield when runner-up to subsequent Chesham Stakes third Lovely Pass, though Ighraa may be suited by a first try over 6f and Cross Pattee was third over 7f at Kempton on her latest start. Take The Lead has a sprint pedigree and may be most interesting of the debutantes as Badr Al Badoor and Dusky Queen are likely to need more time.
