In depth

Verdict

Only a nose separated Sharja Silk and Chiave Di Volta when they were second and third behind Ghostwatch over 1m6f at Sandown and they meet on the same terms here. Cape Liberty won easily over course and distance 12 days ago but has a penalty to carry in a higher grade. RUDE AWAKENING was on and off the bridle upped in trip at Chelmsford but was only headed in the dying strides. Stamina clearly isn’t a problem and a visor may help his concentrate more fully. Sempre Presto tries a new trip but has run well on stiff tracks in her two starts this year and she should last home.
