Waving's winning run on the all-weather came to end at Wolverhampton and he's yet to score on Turf. Aficionado won at Beverley last year and went close over hurdles in December. Choisan is also fit from hurdling and has every chance on his form on the level while Tinseltown won one of these events last season. Royal Marskell went close under today's rider at Lingfield in January and it was soft ground when Frosty Berry made the frame in an amateurs race at Goodwood in October. But CANDESTA was having only his third start when placed at Lingfield last month and Julia Feilden's colt gets a token vote with plenty of scope for improvement.
