Verdict

Paul Nicholls has won this for the last six years with different horses and five different jockeys and Sam Twiston-Davies is taken to keep up the sequence on board WONDERFUL CHARM. Always best when fresh and on decent jumping ground, he's already a dual winner at this level and though found wanting in Grade 1 company he looked better than ever at Newton Abbot last month. Carlingford Lough and Don Cossack were genuine Grade 1-class novices last season as emphasised with their 1-2 in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse in December when the latter just prevailed. The former reversed the form in no uncertain terms in the Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown and looks the main threat. Burn And Turn's second to Road To Riches in the Galway Plate was a superb effort and she's continued in good form though this is a very tough task.
