Diyala won a novice hurdle at Wexford in November and should be a factor in this with her mares' allowance, though she finished tailed off over the smaller obstacles on the first day of the Punchestown Festival. JANSBOY wasn't beaten far behind Operating at Cork on his first try over fences and the winner went on to land a valuable novices' handicap at Punchestown. A repeat of that effort may well suffice here for Michael Winters' seven-year-old. Bose Ikard was disappointing over hurdles after winning at Downpatrick in September but may do better over fences and Howwoulduno was second over course and distance in November.
