In depth

Verdict

Watermelon has been chasing and that's where her future lies after an excellent run at Killarney last time. Francis Du Mesnil is another who has been doing better over the bigger obstacles while Mister Lucky's strike-rate of 1-28 over timber hardly inspires confidence. REGAL LYRIC has joined Gordon Elliott from Tom Tate after just five runs over hurdles. He could be on a nice mark for his new connections and is with the right man to exploit his rating in a race that shouldn't take much winning. Mountain Heather was having her first start since February at Ballinrobe last Sunday and ran well enough to give her supporters encouragement for this.
