In depth

Verdict

This looks tight though the blinkers will need to have the desired effect on King Leon, who has been mainly disappointing over fences. Painted Lady has run a couple of good races behind Valours Minion in recent weeks though the vote goes to BROUGHTONS BANDIT. He bucked the trend of the stable's poor form when making a winning debut over fences at Tramore and the runner-up has scored subsequently so Gordon Elliott's charge could have been given a higher rating. Indian Temple has been a little bit in and out but the trip and ground will suit so he's also on the shortlist, as is Heavenly Brook who was a long way behind him over a trip too short at Tramore last time.
