Alans Pride has been running well for most of the summer and is still in good form judging by his two runs last month though may be a few pounds high, a remark that also applies to Midnitemudcrabs. MELISANDRE won over the track and trip a year ago and looked on the way back when runner-up on a return visit in June. It's a concern she hasn't run subsequently but should have some progress in her and can return to winning ways. Seanie, who was rated 103 at his peak, has dropped to a winnable mark and only just failed to catch Rivellino at Laytown last month while Betty Loch has the best of the draw and won a maiden on her only visit here in August.
