In depth

Verdict

Satin Love ran moderately in two Group races after his very easy debut success at Hamilton but did better in a tough nursery at Newbury last time and should get competitive. Brown Pete, one of five entries who have won their last start on this track, gained a shock victory over Charpoy last week but appeared to need every yard of the mile and may not quite have the pace for this. Aidan O'Brien has struck form with a vengeance and both representatives, Park Avenue and Juliet Capulet, have to be considered, especially the former who has the unstoppable Joseph O'Brien on board. However, Johnny Murtagh has stuck with WARNING FLAG, who he rode to victory here last month and his mount looks progressive enough to make this step-up in grade. Posh Cracker won so easily at the last meeting that it would be foolish to dismiss her chances even in this much higher class.
