Excelli began his winning run in October off a mark of 52 and he's now on 80 after two subsequent victories. He's also up in grade so will find this much tougher and HAT ALNASAR (NAP) may have the edge. Michael Halford's colt beat subsequent winner Marise a month ago and though unable to quite follow up a couple of weeks later when a close third behind Ringside Humour that was a much better race than this. The winner's yard is represented by Mcguigan, who has yet to win a race but is consistent enough and now on a mark he should be capable of winning from soon. Poetic Choice is another consistent type but has only had one Polytrack victory in 17 starts and that was over two years ago at Wolverhampton.
