A tight little handicap but NORTHGATE has the class to concede weight all round. He could hardly have been expected to beat Famous Name and Sharestan in Leopardstown's Listed Heritage Stakes on Sunday, especially as the mile trip was much too short, but he ran a cracking race to be beaten just 2l and with that under his belt can take this. Jazz Girl improved throughout last season and will be better for her recent run at Leopardstown while recent winners Keep It Cool, Prince Of Fashion and Alhella are still well enough handicapped to make their presence felt. The remaining pair have a little to find but are by no means out of this.
