MASAI started odds-on for his debut over 7f at Leopardstown early last month and, though beaten into third, ran well. He couldn't cope with very heavy ground at Listowel 10 days later but this should be within his capabilities. Bonjour Bob has been beaten a total of 18 lengths in his two starts and may find some of these too quick for him. Go Placidly made a very encouraging start over this trip at the Curragh but couldn't cope when stepped up a furlong at Roscommon. Paddy Mac's best run came when attempting to make all over 7f at Sligo where he wasn't caught until the final furlong but the main threat looks to be Green Tag, who has only raced over 7f so far and has been showing very good pace before being swallowed up late on.
