Verdict

Mount Wellington cost 475,000 euros and is out of a mare who won a Group 3 on the all-weather. He has no big-race juvenile entries and is up against a couple of race-fit rivals with strong form. Sirici had a bit in hand over SPIRIT POWER here a fortnight ago but had the advantage of an earlier run. Joseph O'Brien's colt is 5lb better off and showed his inexperience so can reverse the form and take this. Legatum has been well beaten in two runs on Turf while the filly On Fleek will need to be smart to get anywhere near the principals.
