Verdict

Sword Of Light has been looking very one-paced and David Marnane is applying first-time blinkers while Denbigh Raur showed a little promise for Ann Duffield in the UK. SYLVAN MIST has gradually improved with experience and ran well enough over 7f here last week to suggest she can gain her first success though any market move for newcomer Muizenberg Nights has to be monitored. Tommy Stack's filly is a half-sister to no fewer than eight winners including the useful Lady Wingshot and won't need to be a world-beater to make a winning start.
