Verdict

Sophie's World is making her all-weather debut after showing good form on Turf, mainly over this trip on soft ground. She will be difficult to beat if taking to the surface. PRINCESS PEARLITA was beaten quite a long way when placed in her first two starts on Turf but did much better on her debut here two weeks ago when giving supporters of the long odds-on Magnolia Beach a fright - she can go one better. Ger Lyons has won two of the four renewals and has two entries with Phoenix Twist, who made a fair debut behind Harry's Princess over the course and distance and looks certain to improve, likely to prove the pick over newcomer Crafted Mastery though the market should tell us more. Willie McCreery's Holy Roman Emperor filly Pintakova, who is out of a winning juvenile, may do best of the remainder.
