Verdict

A wide-open affair in which AARDWOLF is a hopeful choice. He faded right out of contention the last day but had impressed when winning at Doncaster previously. That last run is best forgotten and the Johnson horses do have a tendency to bounce back after a poor run or two. Expect to see Franny Norton ride an aggressive race and try to see them off one by one. Eaton Square revealed useful ability last term and looks the danger. He's been absent for over 220 days but the booking of Ryan Moore indicates connections mean business. Atteq and Black Trilby are contenders from the foot of the weights whilst Musawaat, Zamjar and Firefright all showed enough last time to be worthy of consideration.
