Norse Gold made a very nice start against more experienced rivals at Kempton and there's no doubt he will progress further. Evervescent needed his debut run at Goodwood and stepped up to this trip with a smooth victory at Haydock. He'll improve again while On The Dark Side showed very good pace at Catterick and should be suited by today's track. Caspar Netscher made an impressive start at Beverley and lost nothing in defeat when attempting to concede 8lb to Misty Conquest at Pontefract. He looks a threat to all but FULBRIGHT, who was seen making strong late headway in that Beverley event, improved to beat some decent rivals at Musselburgh and can give Mark Johnston, who has won this twice in the past 10 years, another success in the race.
