Verdict

This was won by a three-year-old last year and PILATES can follow suit. Mark Johnston's progressive filly has a penalty to carry for her comfortable victory at Brighton and should be up to completing the hat-trick providing she can handle the easier conditions. Tidentime has been running well from this mark since scoring at Lingfield in June and has a very promising apprentice in the saddle while Sarangoo, a winner over this track and trip last month, found a mile just beyond her at Windsor last time. My Kingdom has won seven times in his career and can usually be relied on in this type of grade while Piceno enjoyed the cut in the ground at Chepstow and would come into the reckoning if there's any rain.
